De Wave Group carried out, during the period 2024–2025 at its production site in Monfalcone (GO) – Via Terza Armata 6, an industrial innovation project aimed at improving production efficiency and reducing energy consumption in the processes for manufacturing panels used in the outfitting of ship cabins and onboard environments.
The project involved investment in three new high-technology capital assets, specifically: Combisharp 1530, Press Brake EP 1336, and Press Brake EP 2040, along with their respective accessories.
The solutions introduced enabled a significant evolution of the production processes, improving operational efficiency, reliability, and overall energy performance, with positive impacts in terms of industrial competitiveness and environmental sustainability.
The project is among the initiatives supported by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and was funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, through the Transition 5.0 tax credit.
The investment is fully aligned with the company’s digital and ecological transition pathway, already reported through the Sustainability Report prepared in accordance with the CSRD regulations, and contributes in a measurable way to reducing energy consumption and strengthening the sustainability of industrial processes, in line with the strategic objectives of the European Union.
