De Wave Group is proud to announce the launch of De Wave Academy, a new training initiative aimed at developing top-tier professionals in the field of ship management. The first course, titled “Ship Manager and Superintendent III” is being offered in collaboration with the Italian Merchant Marine Academy. Set to begin on November 26, the course will provide specialized training designed to address the evolving challenges of the maritime industry.

This program offers advanced technical and operational management skills, with modules focused on maintenance planning, onboard resource management, safety, and compliance with international regulations. Participants will also learn techniques for operational optimization, supervision of onboard operations, and management of complex projects, gaining a comprehensive and strategic understanding of the responsibilities of a ship manager

Participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in realistic scenarios, including ship visits and emergency situation simulations, to sharpen their operational skills. Particular emphasis will also be placed on sustainable management practices and the integration of innovative technologies for energy efficiency.
